Landing gear that allows underslung use of the DJI Ronin RS2 gimbal without legs popping into the frame
Tripod landing gear

- Turns together with the gimbal and therefore allows there are no landing legs in view during normal flying (tested with a bmpcc 4k and a 10mm prime lens)
- adjustable design in terms of angles and length of the legs to allow for more/less clearance, less/more popping of the landing legs into the shot and determining the center of gravity of your setup
- installation on the gimbal without the need to damage the gimbal via a system of clamps and plugs (no screws pierce the gimbal’s carbon)
- allows 360 degrees pan (yaw) rotation of the gimbal versus the drone
- Can be made lighter by lowering the clearance (0.45 gr/cm carbon tube, 12mm)
- Flexes rather than breaks if max. forces are exceeded during rough landings.24

The performance of the gimbal is affected by attaching the landing kit. This performance is affected by many factors like the drone’s cog, PID tune, filtering, (soft)mounting solution etc, the calibration and balancing of the gimbal etc. We claim no responsibility for the quality of your footage. In fact without stabilization we still have vibrations in our own footage at this stage.
The user can opt to trade off the large clearance from the ground for a reduction in total weight (0,45g/cm). To obtain this goal, the tubes can be cut a few centimters to have a more compact landing set.
No modifications to the gimbal required to mount the tripod landing kit.
The TPU material is strong yet flexible and protects the gimbal from scratches.

If there is enough interest, we will make a batch. Price will be between 350 and 375 euro exclusive of VAT and shipping.
After confirming orders, shipment will happen about 6-8 weeks later.
We can probably easily make a slight mod for the RS3 pro gimbal, let us know if we need to look into that.
